She knows kids deserve to feel safe at school. That's why Emily founded the local chapter of Moms Demand Action and worked to reduce gun violence. Then, she ran for City Council, where she expanded youth programs that brought down crime and made our neighborhoods safer.
With Vision Zero, Emily worked with the community to improve crosswalks and intersections and add bike lanes - and Hoboken has had no traffic deaths since 2017. As mayor, Emily is committed to build on that success to make Hoboken one of the safest cities in the country.
